Stop Plastic from Taking Over

Title : Stop plastic from taking over the world
Description : I am going to make a video that shows all the harm plastic does when not properly reduced, reduced, or recycled. I am going to make plastic out to be an enemy, almost like ghosts haunting them.
Why is this important to you : I believe its important because the amount of garbage that ends up littered and not recycled properly has major negative effects on the environment. I personally am trying to be more and more eco friendly every day. I use reusable straws, limit my single plastic usage, refuse plastic bags and bring my own reusable ones when grocery shopping. I use a reusable water bottle and reusable plastic container to keep my food in the fridge. I try as much as I can to create as little garbage as possible
How are people going to profit : My performance will hopefully stop people from littering, and get people to start recycling and limit single plastic usage. By watching my video I want people to feel guilty for thinking about all the times they have littered before.

Technologies - past to present to future

A form of technology that is very prevalent in my day to day life would have to be my laptop. In the past, computers used to be as big and as heavy as a person. Now my laptop is as light as a notebook. In the past, computers were a luxury, but now they are a common necessity to day to day life. My laptop has many different uses, that used to not even be thought of being able to do all on one machine. My laptop has the internet, Microsoft word, a calculator, a Photo Booth, music, calendars, Siri, maps, reminders, the list goes on and on. In the past, people needed planners, hand held calculators, a printed out map to then figure out the directions to get somewhere using signs, and a typewriter to type and essay. Compared to present day, I believe in the future, laptops will be able to do almost EVERYTHING. I think they will be able to write my essays for me, and put projects together in the click of a button. However, I think laptops and the technology in them are still a little far away from being able to do those things, so for now I will just write my essays and projects myself. :)

What is the difference between an artist and an inventor? Is there a difference?

Trying to find the difference between an artist and an inventor can be a hard line to draw.  Thinking about the terms "artist" and "inventor" separately, I can think of ways of why people would think they would be different. People believe artists share their creative opinion throughout their work. The term "artist" literally has the word art in it, making people believe that the only way to be an artist is to be good at art. On the other hand, some feel inventors need to follow a scientific process to get to their final product. When people think of inventors, the think of old men in a lab testing different electronics. People often forget that artists can be inventors, and inventors can be artists.  When artists invented new ways of creating art, they were both artists and inventors. And when inventors created something that turned about to be artwork, they invented a new type of art.
